Debbie Griffin Manager; Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer
Debbie began her funeral service career in 1995. She is a graduate of Gupton-Jones College and a licensed funeral director and embalmer. She came to Roy Davis in 2006 and has been manager for the past few years. She feels that any funeral home can sell you a funeral but believes service is what sets us apart. “Each family has lost someone important in their life, someone they loved. Johanna Locke Apprentice Funeral Director and Embalmer
Johanna has been with Roy Davis Funeral Home since 2018. A native of Florida she came here to Georgia in 1995. She has been in funeral service since 2014 and is currently pursuing a degree and license in Funeral Service by attending Ogeechee Technical College in Statesboro, Ga. She has three children and loves being with her family. Johanna is an asset to the funeral industry and is very willing to help families in their time of need. Freddie Harris Apprentice Funeral Director and Embalmer
Freddie is a native of Austell. He began working part-time at Roy Davis Funeral Home, at the age of 16, under the direction and guidance of Roy Davis. He has always loved serving and helping people. Upon recently retiring from the educational profession, after 30 years, Freddie is currently working as an Apprentice Funeral Director and Embalmer. He holds a Bachelors Degree from Mercer University and Masters and Specialist Degrees in Education from the University of West Georgia.
Freddie is married to Shellye Harris and have one daughter, Gabrielle. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Carrie Hicks Office Manager
Married to Jeremy Hicks, a funeral director, for 20 years, Carrie understands what it takes to work in the funeral industry. She believes in being available if someone has questions or just needs a listening ear. Helping to serve our families is top priority.
After being a stay-at-home mother for 16 years to her three children, Noah, Levi and Mary-Elizabeth, Carrie has been our office manager since April 2019.

Tommy Smith Funeral Assistant
After serving 42 years in the insurance industry, Tommy came to work with Roy Davis Funeral Home in June 2008. He considers it a great honor and privilege to be working in the funeral business to assist and help grieving families after the death of a loved one.

Ronnie Twilley Funeral Assistant
Ronnie retired from the construction industry in 2009 and shortly thereafter went to work in the Funeral Home business.
He ministered in music with a singing group called Journeyland for 27 years. He also was the Minister of Music at Northside Baptist Church for 20 years.
He enjoys helping and ministering to people in their time of need. -

Carolyn Lawson Visitation Assistant
Carolyn is a valued member of our staff. She has lived in the Austell-Powder Springs area for over 60 years having graduated from West Fulton High School in 1958. She retired from PrintPack Inc. as a Senior Buyer after 19 years. She is a member of Powder Springs First Baptist Church. Her family includes two children and two grandchildren. In her spare time she can be found enjoying her hobby of gardening.

Mark Hunter Funeral Assistant
Mark is a native to the Austell area having lived around here all his life. He has been in the funeral business for 4 years. For the last 17 years he has attended Mt. Harmony Baptist Church where he serves as the lead for the Media Team. He has 1 daughter, 2 step daughters and proud grandfather to 4 grandchildren.
