William Gerald Foster

William Gerald Foster, 72 of Douglasville, died Tuesday, August 12, 2008. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Karen Foster of Lithia Springs, Stuart and Donna Foster of Douglasville, Craig and Debbie Foster of Douglasville, Roger and Sharmon Foster of Carrollton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Robert Reece of Lithia Springs, Diane and J.W. Tolliver of Newnan, Margaret and Don Eckerson of Tampa; grandchildren, Kelsey Foster, Landon Foster and Garrett Foster; cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Joseph Foster and Bamah Mae Tarpley Foster, and his wife, Eleanor Elizabeth Gallimore Foster. Mr. Foster grew up in Adamsville and was a 1955 graduate of Southwest High School. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and worked as an electrician. The funeral service for Mr. Foster will be 11 a.m. Thursday, August 14, in the Chapel of Roy Davis Funeral Home, with Rev. Ernest Kelly and Rev. Terry Braswell officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Roy Davis Funeral Home (770-948-2552).
