Vernon Eugene Glines

Vernon E. Glines, 41 of Douglasville, died Monday, April 2, 2012. He is survived by his father, Vernon Glines of Carrollton; mother, Jeanette Pack of Chatsworth; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Kelly Glines, Anthony and Jessica Glines, and Jack Glines, all of Douglasville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Crystal and Bubba Abernathy, Lisa and Adam Abernathy, all of Mableton, and 13 nieces and nephews. Vernon enjoyed building model cars, fishing, crossword puzzles, listening to the radio and cleaning houses and cars. He loved his family and was well-loved by all who knew him. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 to 8 pm at Roy Davis Funeral Home in Austell. The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, April 5, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Smyrna.
