It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tommie Gail Coleman, age 84, of Mableton, Georgia, who went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 5, 2026. Born on October 27, 1941, in Atlanta, Georgia, Gail was the beloved daughter of the late Oco and Lucy Gallimore. She was a cherished sister to Barbara Gallimore and Judy Blacksmith.
Gail was a devoted wife, first to Bill Coleman, and after his passing, she found love again with Glynn Attaway. Together, they made their home in Mableton. She was a loving mother to her two sons, Jerry Hudson and Terry Hudson, and a proud grandmother and great-grandmother to many, whom she adored deeply.
Preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Bill, her eldest son Jerry Hudson, and her late husband Glynn Attaway, Gail leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and faith. Known for her infectious smile and enthusiastic spirit, she brought joy to all who knew her. Her love for life was evident in her dedication to her church and her unwavering faith in the Lord.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Roy Davis Funeral Home in Austell, Georgia, on Wednesday, July 15th. The viewing will take place from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 pm. Pallbearers honoring her memory will be Casey Hudson, CJ Hudson, Jeff Parris, Ricky Blacksmith, Harold Blacksmith, Justin Hudson, and Ferrell Blacksmith. The service will be officiated by Daryl Blacksmith. Burial will follow the funeral at Old Roswell Cemetery.
The Coleman family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the kindness and love shown during this difficult time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Roy Davis Funeral Home, Austell, GA.
Gail's vibrant spirit and unwavering faith will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
