Theresa "Teri" Davis

May 12, 1947 — October 14, 2025

Our beloved Theresa "Teri" Davis, 78, of Douglasville, Georgia, gained her heavenly wings on October 14, 2025 surrounded by the family she loved so deeply.

Born May 12, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio, Teri lived a life filled with love, laughter, strength, and unwavering devotion. A proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Teri found her greatest joy in her family. Her eyes would light up whenever they entered the room, and she cherished every milestone, big or small.

Teri was the heart and soul of our family — a woman whose love knew no bounds. She spent her life caring for others, always putting family first and filling every room with warmth and laughter. Her gentle voice, her kind spirit, and her endless hugs brought comfort to all who knew her. To her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was more than a grandmother — she was a safe place, a cheerleader, and a storyteller. Her love was steady, her patience unending, and her pride in her family immeasurable. She taught us the true meaning of unconditional love and left us with memories that will live forever in our hearts.

In quieter moments, Teri enjoyed reading cookbooks and spending time playing cards and board games with her great-grandchildren, creating joyful memories with every laugh.. Her career was marked by dedication and resilience — she served as a dispatcher for Douglasville City Police Department before retiring as a receptionist from Metal Specialist.

Teri is survived by her loving children Cheryl Seevers and Skip Seevers; her adored grandchildren Tiffany (Travis) Brantley, Stephanie (Austin) Humphries, and Russell Hunnewell; her cherished great grandchildren Brayden, William, Travis Jr., Ava, Zoey, Jordyn, Jarimiah, DJ, Jareth, Kylie, and Chasity. Teri also held deep connections with her siblings, Jesse (Nanci) Napoli, Micki (Jim) MacMahon, and Christina Napoli; nieces and nephews Jenna (Michael) Levy, Jesse (Jennifer) Napoli III, Tony (Kelly) Napoli, Matthew (Jessica) Dickerson, and Drew Dickerson and her lifelong friends Barb Cain and Liz Kelner, as well as several family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Teri is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy Hawkins Sr; her parents, Rev. Jesse and Martha Napoli; and her grandsons, John and Joe Garmon, who welcomed her home with open arms.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Christina, whose loving care brought Teri comfort and dignity throughout her final journey.
