Rosaura Cruz

Rosaura “Rosa” Cruz, aged 81, passed away on May 5, 2025, leaving a legacy of love and joy that will be cherished by her family and friends. Born on July 24, 1943, Rosa was known for her sweet and friendly demeanor.

Rosa was a vibrant individual who found great joy in dancing and singing, often bringing sunshine into the lives of those around her. Her passion for having a good time was infectious, inspiring laughter and happiness among her loved ones. Cooking was another one of Rosa’s many gifts. Every meal was made with love, seasoned with laughter, and served with stories that brought everyone together.

She is survived by her beloved children, Jose "Papito" Pagan-Cruz (Angie), Jose "Cheo" Pagan-Cruz (Madeline), and Rosa “Ivette” Pagan-Cruz. Rosa takes with her the love of her eighteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, who will remember her warmth and the joyful moments shared together. She also leaves behind several family members and friends who will continue to honor her memory.

Rosa is preceded in death by her children, Jose "Junior" Pagan-Cruz, Jorge Luis Pagan-Cruz, and Javier Enrique Pagan-Cruz. Their spirits will remain with her, as her strong familial ties and love for her children were defining aspects of her life.

A Memorial Service is scheduled to take place on May 17, 2025, at Roy Davis Funeral Home in Austell, GA, starting at 1:00 PM and concluding at 3:00 PM. This gathering will be an opportunity for family and friends to come together to celebrate the remarkable life of Rosa Cruz, sharing stories and memories of the joy she brought into their lives.
