Robert Lee Simpson

Mr. Robert Lee (Teen) Simpson, age 68, died in his sleep while resting at home on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Born on June 4, 1945 to Mr. Edgar and Mrs. Francis R. Simpson, Robert lived in Atlanta, GA his entire life. He worked for the Atlanta Public School System as a Custodian until retiring in 2006 after 30+ years of service and was a longtime member of the APS Birthday Club. Survivors include his wife, Mary; two sons, Patrick and Rodney (Telicia) Simpson; sisters, Gloria Beasley, Mary Burrough, and Elsie (Willie Ponder) Bryant; brother, William (Marcia) Simpson and sister-in-law, Rose Simpson; 3 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kim Simpson; brothers, Harry, Edgar Jr., and Carl Simpson; and a brother-in-law, Alonzo Beasley.
