Richard Nantz, age 84 of Douglasville died Monday, December 5, 2011.He is survived by his loving wife, Betty June Nantz; daughters, Brenda Nantz of Douglasville and Marcie Domaleski of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Charles Richard Shell, Jay Paul Childers, Stephanie Braswell, Katherine Shell; great grandsons, Luke and Zack; brother, Tony Nantz of Powder Springs and Sara Mozley of Roswell. Richard Nantz was a Navy Veteran and was a member of the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulataton and Asbesto Workers Union.Funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, December 9, 2011 at Roy Davis Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Braswell Jr. and Pastor Paul Warner officiating; Interment will be held at 2:00 pm, at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.Donations are requested to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
