Paula Adiene Weghorn

Paula Adiene Weghorn of Douglasville was born July 26, 1939 and passed away January 6, 2012. She is survived by her sons Doug Weghorn and Randy Weghorn; daughters, Pam Stone, Debbie and her husband Daryl Sokol; half-sister, Rosemarie McCubbin, and grandchildren, Olivia Stone, Hudson Stone, Ramon Weghorn, Rayna Weghorn, Tori Sokol, Mason Sokol and Megan Polanski. Mrs. Weghorn retired from Douglas County Government’s Personnel Department. She loved helping people and was encouraged every day that Something Good Will Happen Today (SGWHT). She had a special love for her grandkids. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of feral cats that came to her home. She loved her cat, Apache, who was her companion for 10 years. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, January 11, in the chapel of Roy Davis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local Humane Society or the ASPCA.
