Naomi West

Naomi West, 74, of Lithia Springs, died January 9, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband, Jim West; sons and daughters, Chuck and Joy West, David and Cathy West, Billy and Wana West and Debbie and John Garrett; brothers, Richard and Florece Cash, Glenn and Louise Cash; grandchildren, Bramblett and Brittany Day, Mathew and Jaime Monroe, Chad and Kayla Whittle, Traci West, Kyle and Libby Garrett; great grandchildren, Bram Day, Gracie Day, Kayden Monroe, and Anna-Kate Whittle. She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Mary Cash; grandparents, William and Vassie Cowan, Gordon and Maude Cash; brother, Bobby Cash; grandson, Jimmy West. Naomi cooked for Lithia Springs Elementary for 40 years, loved children and her family, and also retired from Douglas County Board of Education. Family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Roy Davis Funeral Home. Funeral will be 1 o'clock pm Saturday at 1st Baptist Church of Lithia Springs. Mrs. West will lie in state from noon until 1:00 pm. Burial will be at Mozley Memorial Gardens. Roy Davis Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
