Myron Jody Adair

Myron Jody Adair changed addresses on August 14, 2026, from Earth to Heaven.

Jody was born on December 17, 1973, to Myron Adair and Robyn McWilliams Adair Kolpack. He was the oldest grandchild of W.H. (Pete) McWilliams and Faye Willoughby McWilliams, and the grandson of Bob Adair, who all preceded him in death.

He leaves behind his wife, Tammy Adair; son, Cole Adair; daughter, Charleigh Adair; two granddaughters, Berkleigh and Copelyn; brother, Alex Walker; sister, Sunny Kolpack; aunt, Kathie McWilliams DelPizzo; first cousins, William Wilson and Katherine Setlock; as well as nephews, cousins, and a host of extended family friends too numerous to name.

Jody grew up in Mableton, Georgia, and was well known and loved in the community. Jody owned a thriving lawn maintenance business for many years and was employed by Harley Davidson of Atlanta. He became close friends with the owners, which enabled him to travel around the country with them on multiple wild game and fishing trips, as this was a huge passion of his. The stories from these trips were like watching a movie.

Jody was an avid golfer. He played at all the local clubs in Metro Atlanta and was a very well-known player. His favorite course was “The Frog” (especially since that was his nickname) where he played with his uncle, Peter John, and his cousin, Will.

True story: It’s been said by many, including some of the pros at the clubs, that when he hit the ball off the tee, the sound rivaled that of Tiger Woods, seeing how he hit it 300 yards on any given day. To quote his uncle and cousin, “He could have gone Pro!” It was some of the best times of their lives.

Jody lived a full life with his wife, family, and friends, and he had many accomplishments, but his greatest joys and the most prideful were his two children: Cole, who is a firefighter, and Charleigh, who is a school teacher.

He loved his family and friends, but most of all, he loved God and his bible. In his later years, he a developed a strong faith in the Lord and could rival some skilled teachers with his knowledge. He listened to the bible day and night and was always learning about the Lord he loved.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00am Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Barber Cemetery with Pastor Brandon Newell officiating.
