Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Poole Thompson

Mrs. Dorothy Jean Poole Thompson affectionally known to her family and friends as Dot, passed peacefully at her residence on February 20, 2024. Mrs. Thompson was born on February 20, 1934 to the late Mr. Fred Poole and Mrs. Ruby Paris Poole. Along with her late husband Mr. Roy L. Thompson they owned and operated Ru-Nell Manufacturing in the Yorkville Community of Paulding County for many years. Mrs. Thompson is survived by: Daughters, Ms. Brett Thompson of Atlanta, Ga., and Ms. Tess Mendel of Atlanta, Ga. Grandchildren, Adam Mendel, Rachael Mendel Halprin, Walter Thompson, Nik Uhler and Max Uhler. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Thompson was  preceded in death by: son, Mr. Walter Thompson; and daughter Elizabeth Uhler.

Mrs. Thompson will be laid to rest in a private service at the Yorkville Memory Gardens.
