Melinda Reese Lee

Melinda Reese Lee, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, she went on to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 16, 2025, at the age of 52. Born on March 17, 1973, in Atlanta, Georgia, she brought joy and warmth to the lives of all who knew her.

Melinda was known for her big heart and nurturing spirit. Her love for everyone around her was palpable, and she had an innate ability to make those in her presence feel valued and cherished. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, Landyn Lee and Ava Rose Lee, who were the light of her life. She was also a loving wife for many years to Michael “Tony” Lee. Melinda’s passion for life extended beyond her family; she was an enthusiastic dancer, an exceptional cook, and a true green thumb who found joy in tending to her plants. She made it a point to appreciate the beauty of nature, often trying to never miss a sunset.

In addition to her roles as a mother and friend, Melinda’s presence will be deeply missed by her parents, Dallas Michael Reese and Jadine Reese, as well as her siblings Aaron Reese, his son Little Aaron, Selena (John) Saxon, and their children Lilah and Leo, her stepmother Susan, and stepbrother Michael Griffith. She cherished her relationships with her family, including several nieces, nephews, her fur baby KDee, and other extended family members and friends, who will always remember her kindness and radiant spirit.

A memorial service to honor Melinda’s life will be held on October 4, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM at Roy Davis Funeral Home in Austell, Georgia. The service will provide a space for family and friends to gather, share memories, and celebrate her remarkable life.
