Mary Lou Jones

Mary Lou Jones, 91 of East Point, died Monday, November 12, 2012. She is survived by her son, Douglas (Beverly) Jones of Fallbrook, CA; three daughters, Barbara (Robert) Simmons of Atlanta, Beverly (Robert) Akers of Lithia Springs and Betty Jones of East Point; eight grandchildren, Christopher Jones, Ashley Jones, Suzanne Rackley, Jennifer Wilner, Denise Akers, Brian Akers, Zachary Akers and Jacob Akers, 10 great grandchildren, and a large circle of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester "Red" Jones. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 pm Sunday, November 18, at Roy Davis Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, November 19, in the Funeral Home Chapel. A Private burial will follow. If desired, donations may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association.
