Marion "Daisy" Townsend West

Ms. Marion Arretta “Daisy” Townsend West, age 81, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, in Dallas, Ga.

Daisy was born on February 20, 1944, in Atlanta, Ga. to the late Mr. Sandy Clinton Townsend and the late Mrs. Evelyn Mildred Warren Townsend. Daisy loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed going to bingo, working on puzzles, crocheting and listening to classic country music. Daisy had several jobs throughout her life but the one that she loved the most was taking care of her children and family.

Ms. Daisy will be dearly missed by her many friends and loved ones.

She is survived by her son; Raymond West Jr., and his wife Amy, grandchildren, Amanda Lawrence (Jeremy Wood), Lyndsay Lawrence Cook (Jason), Matthew Lawrence, Mallory Lawrence, Sydney West and Kemp West, great grandchildren, Brodie Lawrence, Atticus Lawrence and Walden Cook, sister, Mrs. Annette Petty and many other friends, and relatives also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Clint West, daughter, Connie West Lawrence, siblings, Billy Townsend, Frances Travis and Jimmy Townsend.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday February 10, 2026 at 2:30 PM from the Mozley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lithia Springs, Ga. with Rev. Glen Petty officiating.
