Kevin Joseph Shannon

Kevin Joseph Shannon passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022, with his family by his side. He was born March 27, 1963, in Bremerhaven, Germany to the late Robert and Nancy Shannon.

Kevin graduated from Carlisle High School in 1981 and Penn State University in 1985 with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations. After that he attended American University and graduated with a master’s degree in International Relations in 1987. He loved to play tennis, golf, and was a master griller. He enjoyed traveling and his dog Ollie. He was well known for his hearty laugh and gentle spirit.

Kevin is survived by his daughter Mackenzie Shannon of Boston, Massachusetts, his sister Karen Shannon of Atlanta, Georgia, and his brother Brian Shannon and family of East Berlin, Pennsylvania.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made in Kevin’s honor to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration.
