Josephine is survived by her beloved sons: Ricky Lee Hyde, Terry Hyde, Greg Hyde (Melissa), Ronnie Dean Hyde (Wendy), and . She was the proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren who brought immense joy and pride to her life. Josephine was predeceased by her daughter, Jackie Sue Owens, whose memory she carried in her heart.

A graveside service will be held in Josephine's honor on May 8, 2025, starting at 1:00 PM at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, located at 11261 Veterans Memorial Highway, Douglasville, GA, 30134. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate the life of this remarkable woman, whose spirit touched so many.
