John Calhoun Pritchard 93, of Powder Springs died Monday, March 7, 2011. Mr. Pritchard honorably served as an artillery mechanic in the Army during World War II. He is survived by his sister Jeanette Harrell of Griffin, sister-in-law Grace Evans of Powder Springs; nephews, Vincent Hester of Powder Springs, David Pritchard of Hiram, Bill Pritchard of Cartersville, Ronnie Pritchard of Powder Springs, Walter Pritchard of Stockbridge and Bobby Hembree of Fort Lauderdale, FL.; nieces Kathy Warren of Griffin, Bobra Oxford of Sharpsburg and Pat Pritchard of Winder. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Roy Davis Funeral Home in Austell. A Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Westview Cemetery.
