Jimmy Sprayberry

Jimmy Sprayberry, 67 of Powder Springs, died Friday, October 14, 2016. He was born in Trion, Georgia on January 24, 1949, the son of Roy and Callie Lou Sprayberry. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Veronica Sprayberry; children, Jimmy L. (Jay) Sprayberry II (Audrey Johnston), Tina Sprayberry Teague and Patrice S. Sprayberry; sisters, Janice Entwisle and Doris Greer; grandchildren, Lauren Daniel, Luke Teague, Lannah Teague and McKenna Rice. He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Logan Teague. Mr. Sprayberry worked as an IT director and a real estate agent. He was a member of the Church of Christ, an avid golfer, Bulldogs fan, voracious reader and a people person. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 29, at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Rome. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
