Jacqueline "Jakki" Kaye Glenn, a beloved resident of Kennesaw, GA, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026, in Marietta, GA. Born on October 15, 1956, in Peoria, Illinois, Jakki was the cherished daughter of the late Cleophus George Glenn, renowned for his celebrated restaurant, Glenn's Kitchen, in Peoria.

Jakki's life was a testament to strength, love, and resilience. She was a devoted mother, leaving behind her children: A'shiron Glenn and A'Kiyia Kelly (Jason Kelly) of Atlanta, GA. Her son, Shay Glenn, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her four loving sisters: Vicki Glenn-Turner of Peoria, IL, Karen Glenn-Dunnigan of California, Denise Glenn of Peoria, IL, and Diane Glenn of New Jersey. Jakki's legacy continues through her precious grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Jakki was a pillar of strength and a beacon of love in her family. Her children remember her as a beautiful, strong Black woman who taught them resilience and strength. She was the rock of her family, and her presence brought warmth and joy to everyone she met. Her hobbies included making furniture, power walking, caring for her plants, and writing, among many other interests.

Jakki will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. In her memory, may we all hold our loved ones a little closer, cherish every moment we are given, and carry forward the kindness and grace she so beautifully shared with the world.
