Gladys Strickland Bailey, age 91 of Lithia Springs, died Saturday, May 8, 2010 after a short illness.She is survived by her loving husband, Wendell Oliver Bailey and several nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 12, 2010 atRoy Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ikie Watson officiating.Interment, Mozley Memorial Gardens.Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5 pm until 7 pm at the funeral home.Mrs. Bailey served as a lab technician with Kraft Food Industries and was also a homemaker. A beautiful spirit endures through many transformations.It carries with it a patient endurance, a perseverance of the soul, that stands the test of time.The colors of our lives do not fade but grow brighter with every changing season.
