Eric Lee Morris

Eric Lee Morris, age 61 of Douglasville died Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Tranquility Hospice.He is survived by his daughters, Monifa Williams of Douglasville, Sherice Barnes of Hampton, Candice Morris-Hartfield of Douglasville, Kimberly Bennett of MD, Ericka Attmore, AZ; sisters, Evonia Hogan of VA, Mamie Collins of TX; brother, Charles Morris of VA; mother, Doretha Morris Evans of VA; several nieces and nephews. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on July 10, 1951. Mr. Morris served in the US Armed Forces where he served faithfully in the United States Air Force earning the AF Outstanding Unit Award and Expert Marksman ribbon.He worked for Emory Hospital as a security officer for the hospital. He is preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Earl West. A celebration of his life will be held in April 19th at 12:00 noon, it will be held at 3000 Anneewakee Falls Parkway, Douglasville, GA 30135.
