Deborah was the cherished daughter of the late Dudley Lee Norris Sr. and Martha Ellen Norris. She shared a deep bond with her late spouse, Ernesto Martinez Leon Sr., and mourned the loss of her dear son, Jesus Martinez Leon. Despite facing the challenges of a disability, Deborah's spirit remained undaunted, and she found fulfillment and happiness in the simple pleasures of life.

A lifelong fan of movies and the Atlanta Braves, Deborah had a knack for finding joy and excitement in the world around her. She often shared cups of coffee with loved ones, perfectly pairing them with lively conversations about her favorite team or the latest Super Mario Bros. game. Deborah's legacy lives on through her devoted children—son Ernesto Leon (Elizabeth) and daughter Angelica Leon.
