Dawson Childress, Jr., 83 of Lithia Springs, died Saturday, January 10, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Jean Childress of Lithia Springs; sons, Terry Childress of Buford and David Childress of Lithia Springs; daughter, Deborah Morgan of Dallas; brother, Jerry Childress and sister, Sarakatherine Jackson; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Sherry Elaine Childress and Brenda Long. Mr. Childress was a Silversmith and was a Veteran of the US Navy.
