Dale Marlow, age 72 of Lithia Springs died Saturday, November 26, 2011 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.He is survived by his wife, Josephine Barrett Marlow; children, Steve Anderson and family, Jerry Anderson and family, Odessa Milan and family, Clyde Dildine and family, Brian Smart and family, Albert Smart and family, Julia Thomas and family, Celia Carroll and family, Jerry Higgins and family, Brenda Carroll and family, Cindy Harrison and family, Judy Knight and family; sister, Brenda McPherson and family; Grandson, Jason Higgins and family whom is the son of George Stanley Higgins who passed away in 1985. Mr. Marlow was a Navy Veteran and also worked for Mead Packaging as a chemist. The family will receive friends on Monday morning from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Roy Davis Funeral Home.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday following the visitation hours.Interment will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 in Maplesville, AL at University Hwy Church of God, 11751 Us Hwy 82;where he'll lie in state from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm.Local arrangements in Maplesville will be under the care of Ellison Mims Memorial Funeral Home.
