Cranford "Jewell" Howard Jr.

Cranford "Jewell" Howard Jr., born on July 18, 1959, gained his angel wings on August 10, 2025. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know him. Jewell lived a life that truly reflected his dedication to family and his passion for working on cars, a hobby he cherished deeply.

Jewell is survived by his beloved daughter, Kelly J. Howard, and his cherished grandchildren, Matthew J. Howard and Ashley M. Glenn. He also leaves behind his brother, David Howard (Tammy), and sister, Debra, who will hold his memory close to their hearts. With them is Vicky, his significant other of ten years, who shared many happy moments together with Jewell and the family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jewell Howard and Ruby Lee Howard, and his oldest daughter, Christy Lee Howard Glenn. Jewell's wife, Sonya Howard, also passed before him.

A visitation to honor Jewell will take place on August 21, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Roy Davis Funeral Home in Austell, Georgia. The funeral service will follow on August 22, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM in the same location. He will then be laid to rest at West Georgia Memorial Park in Carrollton, Georgia, with burial services commencing at 2:30 PM.

Jewell's life exemplified love for family and community, and his spirit will forever resonate with all of those who had the honor of being part of his journey. His legacy will be upheld through the memories and stories shared by those who knew him best.
