Charles Raymond Spraggins

Charles Raymond Spraggins, age 86 of Lithia Springs, passed away October 1, 2011.Born in Rome, Georgia on August 4, 1925; son of Raymond Harrison and Mary Edwards Spraggins.He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert Nelson Spraggins.He’s survived by his wife of 63 years, Sue Flowers Spraggins; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Jefferson (Jeff) Spraggins and wife Carolyn Cook Spraggins, James Nathan (Nat) Spraggins and Tammy Karr Spraggins; grandchildren, Charles Jefferson (CJ) Spraggins Jr. and wife, Solenn Pigree, Johnathan Nathaniel (Nat) and Alicia Spraggins, Heather and Daniel Roehl, Ashley and Mark Reeves and Kimberley Spraggins; great grandchildren, twins- Jackson and Teagan Spraggins, Hunter and Brielle Reeves. Charles served in the Navy in WWII, was an electrician at Rome Kraft for 17 years and retired from G M Motors of Atlanta. Graveside service will be held at Eastview Cemetery, Rome GA.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society.
