It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian "Keith" Cowart, who left us on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the age of 60. Born in Kennesaw, Georgia, Keith was a cherished resident of Cartersville, GA, where he spent his life surrounded by family and friends.
Keith was a devoted husband to Katherine, his beloved wife of 43 years. Together, they built a beautiful family, including their children Natasha Cowart and her partner Victor, Nicole Dutto, and son Travis Cowart. Keith was also a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life. He is survived by his brother Steve (Frances) Cowart, and sisters Katie (Ronney) Bryant and Vickie (Jerry) Davenport. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Christopher Verdin and Ayla Hardy, whose memories he cherished deeply.
Keith's career as a truck driver was more than just a job; it was a passion. He loved driving for the pavement company and took great pride in his work. After retiring, he continued to enjoy the simple pleasures of life, spending his days outdoors, fishing, and hunting.
