Bertha Irene Edins

Bertha Irene Edins, age 78 of Villa Rica, died Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at her residence.She is survived by her husband, Junior Edins; sons, David Strickland and Bobby Strickland both of Villa Rica; sisters, Charlene Bruns of Lithia Springs, Martha "Susie" Taylor of Dallas; brothers, Guy "Ed" Davis of TX, Ronnie Taylor of Dallas; 6 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren. Owner and operator of Stricklands Restaurant in Atlanta, she was known for her southern cooking and dedication to her family and friends. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Roy Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Woodward officiating; interment Melrose Hills Memorial Park in Villa Rica.The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
