Avie Rebecca Mitchell 91, of Douglasville died Wednesday, February 16 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was married to retired fireman Herman Mitchell. Avie is survived by her daughters Martha Mitchell and Margaret Fincher, son Sidney Mitchell, her brother Alton Moore, sister Barbara Beazley, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A private memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.
