Alshennian "Shay" Artrellis Glenn, a cherished resident of Kennesaw, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the age of 52. Born on January 20, 1974, in Peoria, Illinois, Shay was a beacon of resilience, having fought a lifelong battle with sickle cell anemia with unwavering strength and a positive spirit. Despite doctors predicting he wouldn't survive past the age of eight, Shay defied all odds, living a life full of purpose and determination.

Preceded in death by his beloved parents, Gregory Gordon and Jacqueline Glenn, and his grandparents, Shay's legacy of strength and perseverance will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. A proud graduate of Lincoln College of Technology, Shay's passion for computers and technology was evident in every aspect of his life. His intelligence and love for tech were matched only by his kindness and infectious optimism.

Shay is survived by his three treasured children: Jaylen, Jerod, and Keambre Glenn, and two grandchildren: Jahsiaah and Lyrik Glenn. He also leaves behind his three brothers, A'shiron, Montell, and Jory, and three sisters, A'Kiyia, Tiffany, and Shanae, alongside a multitude of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family members who will all hold his memory close.

In Shay's own unique way, he touched many lives, and those who knew him will miss his incredible spirit and infectious smile. "Shay, you will be greatly missed. We love you. Fly high—it's time to take your bow. You fought a good fight!"

To honor Shay's memory, the family welcomes donations through Cash App to: $AKIYIAKELLY or via PayPal at AKiyiaglenn@hotmail.com, cared for by his sister, A'Kiyia Kelly. The Glenn family is immensely grateful for the outpouring of love, support, and generosity during this difficult time.
