Charles Lamar Samples

Charles Lamar Samples, Sr., 77, of Mableton passed away at his residence December 11, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Diane Samples; son, Lamar Samples Jr., of Winston, daughter, Sheryl Farmer, of Douglasville; step-son, Jerry Irwin Jr., of Austell; step-daughters, Kathy Carter, of Winston, Debbie Madden, of Greenwood, SC, Andi Sue, of Villa Rica; brothers; Hoyt Samples, Walter Samples; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by Rebecca James. Charles enjoyed fishing, his driving his golf cart and spending time with his dogs. Family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be Saturday, December 14 at 1 o'clock pm with Bro. Billy Lord and Bro. Dennis Reece officiating. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.
